Self-Lubricating Bronze Bushes

Ct Meca presents its complete range of BP25 sintered self-lubricating bronze cylindrical bushes, external diameter from 2 to 125 mm, length from 2 to 120 mm, in plain or flanged version. These components are produced by pressing the powders in order to guarantee a porosity that is then filled with mineral oil. When the shaft starts working, the bushing heats up, letting oil come out to form a lubricating film between the shaft and the bush, at rest, the bush absorbs the leaked oil. This dynamic avoids possible additions of greases and lubricants, therefore it is components that do not require maintenance. Used as a fixed support for a motor shaft or a rotating pin, they interpose between the shaft and the support, thus considerably reducing friction and ensuring greater durability over time. These bushings allow high sliding speeds and are therefore suitable for applications requiring rotation movements. The operating temperature ranges from -5 ° to + 90 ° and the maximum circumferential speed is 6 m/s.
