Hermes Award 2018: deadline is February 23rd
For the 15th time, Deutsche Messe is launching the Hermes Award. The competition is open to companies and institutions who are exhibiting their innovative products or solutions at Hannover Messe for the first time. The entries in question must have already undergone industrial trials and/or be in industrial use as well as being highly innovative in terms of their technological and economic benefits in actual implementation. The submission deadline is 23 February 2018. The Hermes Award is given annually by Deutsche Messe during the run-up to Hannover Messe, and is endowed with a PR package valued at a total of approximately 100,000 euros. The winner of the Hermes Award is selected by an independent jury chaired by Dr. Wolfgang Wahlster, Director and Executive Chairperson of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). All of the companies nominated for the award will be introduced at the Hannover Messe 2018 Opening Ceremony on 22 April, and will also be featured at a special display within the Research & Technology fair in Hall 2 at Hannover Messe.
