Factory automation on display

Datalogic will be among the protagonists of the next SPS IPC Drives Italia, which will take place from May 22nd to 24th at Fiere di Parma. The exhibition is expected to be once again the “4.0 laboratory” in Italy: training, innovation and digitalization processes for the new Italian manufacturing are the leading themes of this year’s edition. Datalogic, whose products have contributed to create the first intelligent automation processes and continue to support customers all over the world along the path of technological evolution, offers at its stand solutions for interoperability between machine vision, identification and traceability, control and safety systems, laser scanner technologies, imagers and linear cameras, manual devices for automatic data collection, with the aim of providing the most suitable solutions to each machine, joining several technologies in order to maximize throughput and ROI. The growing demand for automation solutions finds a quick response in the new, customer-focused Datalogic organization model, designed to achieve the potential of digital transformation trends and to help customers stay competitive in the future. Automatic data acquisition (AutoID), Datalogic’s core competence, plays a key role in the Internet of Things (IoT) as well as in the communication between machine and machine (M2M). In particular, Barcode and RFID are the basic technologies that make processes in the era of smart manufacturing more flexible and efficient, also extending the traceability of processes and physical objects up to the end user, with several applications in manifold industries, from automotive and food, up to pharmaceuticals.
