The mechanical industry accelerates its race

Thanks to the 4.0 Business Plan, in 2017 the investments have increased by + 10,8%, a very positive trend that should be confirmed also in 2018 (+ 8,2%). “There are three keys to industrial growth: innovation, competitiveness and protection”, says the president of Anima Alberto Caprari. «Italian mechanics calls for further support for the innovation process initiated by manufacturing. It also needs to improve the Italian ecosystem in which the industry operates to promote efficiency and job creation, keeping in Italy the most valuable know-how and processes that characterize our products. We also ask to reinvigorate the fight against counterfeiting and unfair competition to defend the value of our Premium industrial products in European and global markets» Finally ANIMA Confindustria Meccanica has drawn up a manifesto with detailed requests to the government in terms of innovation, competitiveness and protection.
